Credit Control Administrator

This is a Temporary, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are looking for a Credit Control Administrator to join our Finance department based in Steeton, West Yorkshire.

In this role, you will ensure that all any customer debt is paid in a timely manner.

*** TEMPORARY CONTRACT - 12-18 MONTHS ***

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Adaptable for the right candidate)

Salary: £23,500 - £25,000 P/A (subject to experience)

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Chasing of outstanding invoices from both Retail & Dealer Customers across a number of global entities
  • Handling customer queries and liaising with other departments where necessary to resolve issues
  • Processing of Direct Debits for end users
  • Posting payments from customers
  • Manage credit limit reviews for Dealer customers
  • Releasing of orders in line with cut offs
  • Reviewing ledgers and explaining outstanding balances
  • General administrative work such as filing, scanning, telephone calls and emails
  • Ensure that transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner
  • Any additional tasks as requested by Management
  • Work in other functions in Finance as required to cover holidays & sickness 

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a Credit Control role (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience in Customer Service or Admin role (desirable)
  • Competent Excel skills
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines 
  • Experience of SAP (ideal but not essential as full training is given)
